It's heartbreaking to watch SeeYa's final stage.
The girls burst into tears during their performance.
Since debuting in 2006, the group has experienced highs and lows, and the members will be going their separate paths on an amicable note, especially after Nam Gyuri rejoined the group for this final album promotion, having left earlier under acrimonious circumstances.

SeeYa’s original trio stated, “We pledged to not look sad in front of our fans, to not cry, to not look weak, and to confidently do our best until the very end before we went up on stage. We’ll be making this pledge for our remaining stage as well.”

They concluded, “It’s so sad thinking that this is SeeYa’s final goodbye stage, but we only want to show fans our smiling side. I honestly thought I’d cry, but I tried to remember the happy moments I had with SeeYa in order to avoid crying. We’ve rehearsed a lot to make sure we present the best possible stage, so please look forward to our goodbye stage.”

[Eng Sub] 2PM's Wooyoung & IU , Dream high - "Wooyoung fever", "Super cute couple"

The female fans response to 2PM's Wooyoung, who's playing Jason in a popular KBS drama "Dream High", is quite extraordinary.

Jason is a Korean from overseas, who enters Kirin Art School with the highest score. He loves fun and is not only good at singing and dancing. Wooyoung is gaining popularity through flawlessly portrayed manners and personality of the character. As originally it was Wooyoung's acting debut, there was a lot of anticipation and worry, but he received a positive response from his very first appearance, leaving a rather strong impression. Wooyoung especially impressed the female fans in the very first episode, when he delivered his English lines with clean pronunciation, even though he is famous for his Busan origins. Up till now it feels as if he has been the perfect pick to play the character, as if Jason and Wooyoung were made for each other.



Even though he made a strong impressions in the first few episodes his appearances had been quite short. However, on the 7th episode of the drama he showed that he could also play a leading character who pulls the entire action of the story line further. In that episode he appeared together with IU, who's currently rising in popularity among uncle fans, a target group which had been SNSD's stronghold for a very long time. Wooyoung that day performed with a charming appeal strong enough even to put smiles on IU male fans faces. Wooyoung's character is currently slowly building love and friendship with IU's character, who's good at singing, but is overweight and has many complexes about her appearance. Jason is always polite to Pilsuk (the name of IU's character) no matter what. Wooyoung received enthusiastic support from the female viewers of the drama as on the 7th episode Jason forsake the important showcase he was supposed to attend with a celebrity and performed a duet with IU during a fake showcase with the college preparatory class, demonstrating his loyalty and affection.

Due to this "Wooyoung Fever" the amount of his apperance in the drama is increasing although originally he would have only a scene or two in each episode. It's a situation when he's receiving more attention, chasing after the popularity of the original three main characters played by Kim Suhyun, Bae Suji and Ok Taecyeon. As the fans keep on posting comments about Wooyoung and IU on the viewers' board, the number of comments asking to increase Wooyoung's appearance in the drama is rising. There are even fans who upload pictures of self-made Jason Doll.

It seems like the Wooyoung Fever among female fans will only get worse further on when the love-line between Wooyoung and IU (who are called Milky Couple*) starts. There are definitely plans to create a perfect Milky Couple sooner or later, because the preview of IU's character getting slim has already been broadcasted. With the sweet Milky Couple love line in process it is expected that Wooyoung Fever will spread not only among teens, but among the viewers in their 30's and 40's as well.

[ENG SUB] Super Junior's Foresight Ep 6 - Guest SISTAR

Super Junior and SISTAR had a collaboration performance of “Sorry Sorry” for MBC Every1’s “Super Junior’s Foresight.”

The show has been focusing on bringing in experienced industry seniors to teach and share their know-hows with Super Junior, but for the January 12th episode, Super Junior brought in SISTAR for a winter-break special.


SISTAR was given tips from the Super Junior MCs themselves. When SISTAR was performing Super Junior’s hit track, “Sorry Sorry,” the four Super Junior MCs jumped on stage and participated in a spontaneous collaboration with the girls.

Considering how the two teams had never practised before, they earned the applause of everyone on set for their perfect synchronization.

Later in the show, SISTAR’s Bora revealed that she was the ‘Queen’ of her college, Myungji University, and that she had met Lee Teuk a long time ago.

Kara's 3 member asked for the current CEO's wife to step down

According to reports by the Union News, KARA’s Nicole, Seungyeon, and Jiyoung are currently discussing soliciting arbitration from the Korea Entertainment Producers’ Association (KEPA).

An industry representative, and also an associate of the three girls, ‘J‘, stated, “The parents of the three have expressed a desire to discuss matters with DSP Media. They’re also considering to request mediation from the KEPA.”

‘J’ has been making headlines as the close friend of Nicole’s mother, and for also allegedly being the figure behind the entertainment company that offered KARA new contracts under his own agency and to pay for their contract termination penalties.

‘J’, who expressed that he knew about the rumors, answered, “I was targeted to be the one offering contracts from behind, but that’s ridiculous. It’s true that I’m helping them, but it’s under a completely different understanding.

I lived in the same apartment as Nicole in the U.S. and have been close with the members’ parents for a while. I listened to their concerns and gave advice from a third party perspective. I don’t even want to get into the rumor about me supposedly investing $4 million USD into an agency to take in KARA.”

He also revealed that he met with the parents yesterday and that he has been watching over the entire ordeal right alongside them. The problem is not money, he claimed, but a matter of broken trust and the problems that arose after the CEO’s wife took his place after his hospitalization.

“The remaining years left in each of the members’ contracts are different. If the original CEO was present, then we wouldn’t think twice about re-contracting under DSP, but DSP has blocked the girls from visiting the CEO in the hospital and withdrew information regarding his health. If they hadn’t done that, the girls would have at least stuck by their contract out of loyalty to the CEO.

The company instead tried to hide things and never once showed proper balance statements and contract documents. DSP wanted to ‘make at least one more member return so that they can continue promotions with a new member addition’ and have been continuously attempting to meet with Seungyeon and Jiyoung’s parents in an attempt to persuade them with higher income distributions. They do not realize that this is an issue of broken trust.”

He added, “The three parents are not thinking at all about whether they’ll be returning to the company, or whether they’ll be looking for another company. They just believe that they want KARA as five. The parents will be negotiating with the company. Because of foolish speculations like ‘the parents are doing it for the money’, and further misunderstandings with the company, I, too, told them to negotiate.”

It was recently announced on January 25th that the three estranged members of KARA (Han Seungyeon, Jung Nicole, and Kang Ji Young) have been working together with DSP Media to find a mutual agreement and solve the current controversy.

And The conditions which 3 members of Kara brought forward is known to have been delivered to DSP entertainment.

The conditions are, reducing their remaining contract of 3~4 years down to until July of next year.

July of next year is when their contract with Japanese Universal ends and at the same time they want the contract with DSP entertainment to end.

They are asking 1~2 years off their contract.

Also they asked for the current CEO's wife to step down from her position.

Gag Concert (Korean: 개그콘서트) is a Korean sketch-comedy TV show shown on the KBS2 network.

On the episode of Gag Concert, CNBLUE was in the crowd of the audience. Usually, celebrities come on so that they get made fun of by a Comedian. This time, there was even a bigger surprise for particularly one member, Jung Yonghwa. Song Joon Geun said, “I heard Yonghwa was coming today so I got (SNSD’s) Seohyun to come too.” Since the two idols are “married” on We Got Married, their relationship is a hot topic amongst the public. People were excited to see Seohyun come out but it turns out it was comedian Kim Jiho in a SNSD Oh! outfit. He looked quite scary but hilarious at the same time. He went on to play out a scene from the show
and made Yonghwa crack up for quite a while as he tried to run away from the horror who wanted skinship.

Seohyun, meets husband Jung Yonghwa’s childhood friends!
Last week, the YongSeo couple traveled to Busan, Yonghwa’s hometown.

This week, their trip continues with a sweet and chilling meeting with the seagulls at the Haewoondae beach followed by a meeting with Yonghusband’s childhood friends.


His friends have been with him for 10 years and have spent their school years together. While he turned quiet in front of his mother, the Yong choding returned with full force once he met his friends, and his native Busan friends quickly became friendly with Seohyun.

Khuntoria episode 30! Very sweet episode as Victoria visits Nichkhun to give him her personally made Pad Thai lunch box ^^ On this weeks episode We Got Married took us a few months backward showing 2PM's comeback and revealing wife Victoria's mini-event for her husband Nichkhun!

Looks like Victoria enjoys playing "spy games", she secretly recorded Nickhun while they were practicing for their performance and then later on showed it to him with the help of SHINee's Minho. Will Victoria's surprise event be successful or will she be recognized by the 2PM members instantly?

[NEWS] Korea’s Kara: Big in Japan, But Breaking Up (The Wall Street Journal)

South Korean pop group Kara has won the hearts of Japanese boys and girls with its translated songs and sassy dance moves. Since debuting in Japan in August 2010 with the single, “Mister,” the new sensation has followed a now familiar route for Korean showbiz stars here, racking up over 470,000 single and album record sales and winning the top industry award for international newcomers. The Kara girls even landed their own midnight TV drama on terrestrial station TV Tokyo.

Now, the group has a real-life drama to deal with: It’s on the verge of splitting, with three of the five-member group saying they will terminate their contract with their management agency, DSP Media. According to Korean news reports, legal representatives for the three rebels said the group’s agency forced the idols to perform in unwanted activities and signed various contracts on their behalf without informing the members of the details.

Luckily for Japanese fans, TV Tokyo has said that its 12-episode drama series “Urakara,” which began to promising ratings on Jan. 14, will continue as planned. Each week, the girls follow through with their given mission: to seduce and catch the hearts of target men. The drama series’ homepage is already number one on the TV station’s website access ranking.

The K-Pop boom has engulfed Japanese of all ages with films, dramas, and songs as Korean groups continue to expand their fan range throughout Asia.

But this is not the first time that Korean pop acts have become big in Japan and then run into problems with management back home. In 2009, three members of the already popular K-pop boy band TVXQ terminated a contract with Korean agency SM Entertainment, renamed itself JYJ, and soared to ultimate stardom through its Japanese agency Avex, hitting the charts with highest weekly sales for its album and DVD. An ongoing lawsuit between the boys and their Korean agency has yet to be solved.

SNSD’s Seohyun & CNBLUE’s Yonghwa enjoy a romantic date in Busan

CNBLUE’s Yonghwa and SNSD’s Seohyun enjoyed a romantic date featuring their characteristic sweet potatoes in Yonghwa’s hometown of Busan, as the January 22nd episode of MBC’s “We Got Married” focused on a continuation of the couple’s stay after their meeting with Yonghwa’s mother last week.

While walking through the streets, Seohyun expressed her disappointment in Yonghwa failing to notice her wearing a necklace he previously gifted her by asking, “Do you remember the butterfly necklace you gave me before? Do you know how much I’ve worn it?”

Yonghwa answered back, “I did know,” while Seohyun retorted, “Then why did you never mention I was wearing it?”

In their black room interview cuts, Seohyun disappointingly expressed, “I thought he forgot about the necklace. Maybe I won’t wear it next time.” In Yonghwa’s interview, he truthfully stated, “I always noticed that she was wearing the necklace, but I didn’t think you had to show that. Now I’ll definitely show it.”

He then turned to Seohyun during their date and exclaimed, “So this is what you wanted, our Seohyun?” while personally putting on the necklace for her.

[Video] Taiwanese girl group gets plagiarize Brown Eyed Girls, 2NE1 and T-ara?

Taiwanese pop stars are suspected in plagiarizing Korean artists.

A Taiwanese female group called XOXO released their song and music video recently for 'Mocha Java.' This sparked interest because the video if similar to Brown Eyed Girls' 'Abracadabra' and 2NE1's 'Can't Nobody' and has given off the impression of plagiarism.

Part of the song also was considered to be plagiarized because of it's reminiscence to Brown Eyed Girls' 'Abracadabra' and 'Sign' and 2NE1's 'Can't Nobody.' The plagiarism and choreography and overall concept was also very similar to Brown Eyed Girls.

Previously, Lotus Wang, also a Taiwanese Singer made a remake of T-ara's 'Bo Peep Bo Peep.' XOXO's song is also very, very similar to T-ara's hit track and has raised many mixed opinions from fans on the situation.

On January 19th, four members of KARA had decided to terminate their contracts with their company DSP. Excluded from the lawsuit was the leader Park Gyuri. Netizens have assumed that Gyuri was an 'outcast leader' being bullied by 'natural leader' Seungyeon, but these claims have only resulted in being denied.

In addition, it was also talked about how T-ara's former leader possibly could be bullied. T-ara who released a new album late last year gained a new member, Ryu Hwayoung, and also changed leaders from Eunjung -> Boram.

Eunjung said in an interview with Newsen, ''We thought there really wasn't a group that are as close as we are, when these member controversies, bullying rumors started spreading around, we all just said 'Huh' and laughed about it.'

Eunjung continued by saying, 'It was the first time we heard of leaders being changed in an idol group from Korea. The leaders rotating through different members, including me, is just intended to get each other members' good points shown to fans and develop us. That's the only reason we will switch from leader to leader, so don't be concerned. It's even possible maknae Jiyeon could be leader,' she said while dismissing the rumors.

Lady Gaga wasn’t the biggest concert draw of 2010, who was?

Apparently Lady Gaga needs to step it up as it would seem she would have been the biggest concert draw in the U.S. of 2010, but she definitely wasn’t as she came in fourth.
So who beat out Lady Gaga? In second and third place were AC/DC and U2 as they both grossed over $150 million, states Hollyscoop. And in first was Bon Jovi, breaking the $200 million mark.

The really shocking part isn’t just that Gaga was beat, it is that she played over 50 more gigs than Bon Jovi and 100 more than U2. Sounds like Gaga still has a long way to go.
